Rasheed Sadiq

Founder & Lead Instructor

Assalamu Alaikum! I’m Rasheed Sadiq, and Aathara was born from a deeply personal understanding of the challenges many Muslim adults face when they haven’t had the opportunity to learn Qur’anic reading in their youth.

Having witnessed countless parents feel hesitant or embarrassed about their reading level, I created Aathara to provide a safe, judgment-free space where adults can start from absolute basics and progress at their own pace.

With years of experience in Qur’anic education and a specialization in Tajweed through the Qaida Nooraniyah method, I’m committed to making your learning journey as smooth and rewarding as possible. Remember—it’s never too late to begin.

Why Aathara Exists

Too many Muslim parents in the UK carry a quiet burden—the wish to read the Qur’an but not knowing
where to start, or feeling too embarrassed to admit they need help.

At Aathara, we understand this deeply. That’s why every class is designed with compassion and
patience at its core. We don’t rush. We don’t judge. We simply guide you, step by step, until you can
read with confidence.

Because when a parent learns to read the Qur’an, something beautiful happens—they don’t just
transform their own relationship with Allah’s words, they inspire their children to do the same.
